Vietnamese arrested on suspicion of being leader of a smuggling group

Police arrested a man who is believed to be the leader of a group of Vietnamese drug dealers, was arrested for receiving part of the proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.

The person arrested was Juan Min Twen, 26, a Vietnamese citizen living in the city of Kawaguchi, Saitama province.

Police are investigating that Juan smuggled drugs from Vietnam and made them sell them in Japan, receiving at least 20 million yen.

He, who denied the charges, but is considered the central figure in the Vietnamese drug trafficking group, where 16 traffickers have so far been arrested.
