Annually, from the end of May mid June, Hana-Shobu (Iris Festival), is one of the main events of the hekinan city, a garden that houses about 13.000 irises (Hana-Shobu), symbol of the city of Hekinan. The garden includes 80 species of delicate flowers that have made the city famous for its beauty.
In addition to the iris flowers, an event is held annually such as theatrical shows, photography contests and tea ceremonies that entertain visitors. And at night the artificial lighting is switched on until 21 pm, and turns the place into a fantastic tourist spot.
Date: Every year from late May to mid-June.
Parking: Free (3 car parks around the park for 140 cars)
Canceled 2020 events, shows and more, but you can visit to see the flowers of Iris and take pictures.
