Fukui-shi Fukui City
Fukui (Fukui City) is the capital of the province of Fukui and lies between the sea of Japan and the mountains, with an area of 4.190.52km2. It received city status on April 1, 1889, with a population of 262.245 inhabitants, including about 3.850 foreign citizens, 218 of whom Brazilian, 27 Peruvians, 61 Americans, 697 Koreans, 962 Chinese, 313 Philippines 79 Thailand, 36 Indonesia, 122 Vietnam and others.
