Owariasahi-shi Owariasahi
Owariasahi (尾 張旭 市) is a city located in the province of Aichi with a total area of 21.03 km². The population of Owariasahi is 83.910 inhabitants, including about 1.470 foreign citizens, of which 375 are Koreans, 310 are Chinese, 12 are Americans and 773 others (data town hall, October 2020).
In July 1906, three villages merged to form the village of Asahi, the village Asahi was proclaimed a city in August 1948.
