Nagoya (名古屋) is the capital and largest metropolitan region of the province of Aichi and it is the fourth largest incorporated city in Japan and the third most populous urban area, with a population of 2.330.178 inhabitants, including about 85.350 foreign citizens, 4.871 are Brazilian, 841 Peruvians, 24.349 Chinese, 15.404 Koreans, 10.705 Vietnam, 9.545 Philippines, 7.534 Nepal, 1.535 Americans, 1.170 Indonesia, 1.096 Sri Lanka and others (data town hall 2.020).

- Nagoya Castle (名古屋 城 - Nagoya-jō), Nagoya Castle was built in 1612. During World War II it was completely destroyed, leaving only its stone base.
