Komaki-shi Komaki City

Komaki (小牧市) is a Japanese city located in the middle of the Nobi Plain, in the central west of the province of Aichi, north of the metropolis of Nagoya. The city skyline is dominated by Mount Komaki, covered by Komaki Castle and faces the river Aisumagawa, which flows into Kinuura Bay, in the western part of the Nishimikawa Plain. Komaki received city status on 1 January of 1955.
