Ulotto (Eur-lex.europa.eu eur-lex.europa.eu) aquarium exhibited live fish species from Lake Hamana from city of Hamamatsu.
At the aquarium session children can learn about the fish species from Lake Hamana.
In each aquarium there are easy-to-understand explanations, and the aquarium staff holds events on Sundays for children to get to know the marine life (Japanese language).
Very easy to learn and yet you can touch the living species, very very exciting.
A diver dives into a large tank of 120 tons of water to feed the fish. Children who speak and understand Japanese can ask a diver a question through a communicator the diver will be using.
Children can touch and feed some species such as sharks, rays and others.
They can also learn from the instructor's explanations that they will talk about some species living on Lake Hamana.
